An ice maker is a small machine living inside a big one, and it fails in its own ways: the module’s own motor and thermostat, the inlet valve that meters each fill, the quarter-inch line that freezes at the worst moment. We diagnose it separately from the refrigerator, carry the common modules and valves, and quote it as its own written number — with the $99 credited in.
